Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Mcfadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Mcfadden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Waters !
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Waters is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Waters gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mcfadden.
The referee is keeping an eye on Waters - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Waters is looking to take this one to the mat.
Mcfadden really is a fat lump.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Waters has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Waters jumps guard and drags Mcfadden to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Waters is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Waters has Mcfadden up against the cage in a clinch.

Waters manages to pull guard.
Mcfadden not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Waters wants to sweep here but Mcfadden controlling him for the moment.
Mcfadden slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Waters utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Mcfadden pushes Waters up against the cage in a clinch.
Waters tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Mcfadden closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcfadden lands in his opponent's guard.

Waters is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mcfadden is trying to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kenny Mcfadden will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Waters drops back looking for a leg! Mcfadden is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcfadden manages to kick Waters off! Waters jumps back into Mcfadden's guard.

Mcfadden wants to stand but Waters has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Waters is controlling Mcfadden's trapped leg to prevent Mcfadden from advancing to side control.
Waters has hold of Mcfadden's hands but Mcfadden slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mcfadden connects with a nice short shot to Waters 's temple.

Waters has hold of Mcfadden's hands but Mcfadden slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcfadden seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Waters shoots in for a double leg but Mcfadden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Waters tries for a takedown but Mcfadden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Waters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcfadden pinned against the cage. Mcfadden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Waters throws a sloppy head kick and Mcfadden moves out of range easily.

Waters gets caught napping as Mcfadden dives in and scores a takedown. Waters manages to retain guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Mcfadden seems to be working for a kimura but Waters defends the submission attempt.

Waters might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcfadden haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mcfadden looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Waters with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bobby Waters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kenny Mcfadden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kenny Mcfadden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
