Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Meng Hao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Meierotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marty Meierotto has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Meng Hao's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Meng Hao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marty Meierotto! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hao tries to clinch up but Meierotto circles away and keeps his distance.
Hao throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Meierotto was covering up waiting for the punch and Hao finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Meierotto uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Meierotto gets caught flat footed, as Hao shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Meierotto pushes Hao off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Meierotto has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hao is landing a low percentage of strikes. Hao tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

 That's one minute gone in the round.
Meierotto is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Meierotto decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hao, up you get!
Hao shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Meierotto napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Meierotto explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Meierotto avoids the head kick by Hao.
Meierotto closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Meierotto lands in his opponent's guard. Hao is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Meierotto passes Hao's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Meierotto prevents Hao from improving his position. Meierotto uses his free foot to push down on Hao's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hao.
Meierotto gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Meierotto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hao tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Hao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meierotto on the ground.
Meierotto working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Hao is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Meierotto has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Hao taps out!
