Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joey Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Bann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Bann!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bann throws a body kick that misses.
Bann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thompson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thompson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Thompson lands a head kick that stumbles Bann and the fighters go to the mat.
Bann is rocked!
It looks like Dexter Bann has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thompson loads up on a big left hand. Bann felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Thompson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Bann can't hide his disappointment, as Thompson celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joey Thompson!
