Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tommy Bruce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wrestling Man!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Man's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bruce wants to stand but Man is controlling the position.
Man engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Bruce can't keep his opponent in guard - Man advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Man not doing much here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bruce fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bruce tries to clinch but Man moves out of range.

Man bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Man controlling the position.
Man's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Bruce wants to get back to his feet.
Man happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bruce pushes Man away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Man gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Man content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bruce tries to clinch but Man moves away

and Man counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bruce!
Bruce is being controlled here.
Man tries to advance to mount but can't.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Man prevents Bruce from escaping the position.

Wrestling Man dominated that round.
That's time! Bruce's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Man shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bruce as he avoids it easily.
Bruce seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Nice sprawl there from Bruce as Man shoots in.
Man doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bruce counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tommy Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wrestling Man.

Bruce gets caught flat footed, as Man shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bruce is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Man is controlling him.

Man sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bruce's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bruce wants to get back to his feet but Man is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Man content to stall in guard here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Man shoots in and bounces Bruce off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Man controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Wrestling Man showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Man.
You can see the frustration on Bruce's face as Man controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Man has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bruce can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Man controls the pace.
