Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Randerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Kandle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Randerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jordan Kandle!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kandle showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Randerson.
Randerson fails to land with a series of punches.
An inside leg kick from Randerson misses.
Randerson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kandle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Randerson enables Kandle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Randerson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kandle pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Randerson is keeping the position for now.
Kandle works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kandle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Randerson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kandle.
Kandle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Randerson is trying to control but can't.

Randerson wants to get back to his feet.

Randerson kicks Kandle off and gets back to his feet.
Kandle walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Randerson throws a series of strikes that have Kandle backpedaling.
Kandle closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Randerson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kandle momentarily.

Randerson forces Kandle back against the cage and clinches.
Randerson is leaning against Kandle and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Randerson tries to circle away but Kandle has him pinned against the cage.
Kandle is looking to take this one to the mat.
Kandle is looking for a takedown.
Randy Randerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Kandle.
Kandle avoids the elbow strike from Randerson, against the cage.
Kandle is trying to drag Randerson to the mat but Randerson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kandle has Randerson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Randerson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Randerson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kandle or not.

Randerson wants to stand up but Kandle is controlling him.
Randerson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kandle takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Randy Randerson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Randerson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kandle circles away quickly and effectively.
Kandle changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Randerson throws a good cross that connects.
Randerson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kandle swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kandle misses with a takedown attempt - Randerson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Randerson darts in looking for a takedown but Kandle gets double underhooks and turns Randerson into the cage.

Randerson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kandle is fending him off so far but Randerson persists. Nope, Kandle circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kandle or perhaps it was just good defense by Randerson, which made it look bad.
Kandle shoots in but Randerson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A little feinted left hand from Randerson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Randy Randerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Kandle.
Kandle is breathing heavily.

Kandle is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Randerson.
Randerson throws a nice looking combination but Kandle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kandle changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Randerson goes for a double leg but Kandle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kandle continues to drive forward.

Kandle displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Randerson.
Kandle takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Randerson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Randerson lands with a straight right. Kandle didn't see that one coming.
Randerson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kandle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Randerson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kandle can do to turn this around?

Randerson thuds his right hand into Kandle's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kandle has a takedown stuffed.
Randerson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kandle was well out of range. Poor timing from Randerson.
Kandle with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Randerson to score with a decent uppercut.

Kandle slaps away a takedown attempt from Randerson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kandle closes the distance and clinches up with Randerson, looking for a takedown. Kandle pushes Randerson against the cage but Randerson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Randerson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Randerson wants it to stay on the feet.
Randerson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kandle fails with the takedown
and Randerson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Kandle moves forwards but Randerson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

No joy there for Randerson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kandle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Randerson cracks Kandle with a good jab.
Randerson takes a swing at Kandle's ribcage but misses.
Kandle shoots for a double leg takedown but Randerson sprawls well. He's pushed Kandle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Randerson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Kandle shoots in for a double leg but Randerson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kandle takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Kandle has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Kandle dives in for a single leg takedown but Randerson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Randerson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kandle's hands.

Kandle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kandle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Randerson is fending him off so far but Kandle persists. Nope, Randerson circles away and we're back to standing.
Randerson shoots in looking for a takedown but Kandle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Randerson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kandle looking for a sweep. Not yet Kandle, not yet.
Jordan Kandle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Randerson throws a big right hand that misses.
Randerson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Randerson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Randerson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Randerson tried to score with a low kick but Kandle checks it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nice uppercut there from Randerson.
Kandle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Randerson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kandle defends well and Randerson ends up having to push Kandle into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kandle lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

And that's the end of the fight!
Randy Randerson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Randerson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
