Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kong Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerm Frankin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes into the arena with Sweep the Leg blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Frankin's choice of entrance music: Svennebanan. Kong Le could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kerm Frankin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kong Le! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kerm Frankin! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le tries a head kick but it misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Frankin. Frankin shoots for a double leg takedown but Le sprawls well. He's pushed Frankin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Le throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Le throws a big shot that misses. Frankin avoids the head kick by Le.

Le throws a sloppy head kick and Frankin moves out of range easily. Frankin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Le pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Le throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Frankin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Le circles away. Kong Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kerm Frankin. Frankin throws an overhand right that lands on Le's shoulder, as Le tries to avoid the shot. Le looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A head kick misses from Le. Le wants to clinch but Frankin slips to the side and Frankin moves into the clinch. Frankin tries to stall but Le uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Le breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Frankin gets a clinch. Le throws a knee to the head but misses.

A slow jab from Le misses its intended target. Le throws a head kick that misses and Frankin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Le seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Le is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Frankin is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Le is breathing heavily. Le trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Frankin stands up over Le, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Le might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Frankin is looking to work some ground and pound but Le has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frankin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Le is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Le has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Frankin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Frankin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Le. Le obviously looking to wear him down.

Frankin circles away from the clinch attempt and Frankin counters with a shoot takedown. Le fights it but they end up in guard. Frankin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Le wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Le pushes Frankin off and gets back to his feet.
Le darts in trying to clinch and Frankin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Le moves into full guard.
Le is adopting a defensive guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kerm Frankin dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Le rushes Frankin and presses him up against the cage. Le breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Le clinches up against the cage. Le's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Le moves into the clinch. Le unloads a knee to the mid-section. Frankin lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Le tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Le manages to break the clinch.
Le drops Frankin with a big left hand and mounts him. Frankin is in big trouble!
Frankin is rocked!
It looks like Kerm Frankin has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Le looking to control and managing it successfully. Le stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Le fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Frankin, pushing him back against the cage. Frankin is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Le escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A chopping leg kick lands by Le. Le tries a head kick but it misses.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Le - that will leave a mark!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Le tries a head kick but it misses.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Le throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Frankin is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
