The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolov drops his hands momentarily and Tanaka takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nikolov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nikolov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tanaka doesn't seem bothered though.
Nikolov looks to score with a jab to the body but Tanaka is just out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Tanaka misses the target.

letting Tanaka counter with a right hand.

Tanaka displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nikolov throws out the jab.

Tanaka swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nikolov.
Tanaka lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tanaka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nikolovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tanaka scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Nice shot lands for Tanaka.
Nikolov lands a head shot.

Nikolov walks into a stiff left hand from Tanaka.

Tanaka definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
