The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obuhov lands with a cross.
Obuhov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mendez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Obuhov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Obuhov leaves Mendez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Obuhov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Mendez is rocked!
Obuhov cracks Mendez with a left hook right on the temple and Mendez goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Obuhov lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Mendez is OK!
