The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frunze misses the jab.
Frunze avoids the body shot from Williams.
Frunze lands a leg kick that knocks Williams off balance momentarily.
Williams takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Frunze moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Frunze dips to his left and cracks Williams with an uppercut!
Frunze lands with a thumping leg kick.
Williams throws a poor cross that misses
and Frunze counters with a nice kick to the body.
Williams slips under a jab.
Frunze lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Frunze misses the target.
Frunze goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Williams instigates a clinch.
Williams works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Frunze is looking to break free of the clinch but Williams has double underhooks.
Williams scores with a nice hook to the head.
Williams lands a body punch.
Williams throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Frunze looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
A short body shot lands from Williams as the two fighters clinch.
Williams working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Williams lands a nice uppercut.

Williams digs a right hand into Frunze's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Frunze's gas tank.
Williams digs a right hand underneath Frunze's ribcage. Frunze let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Williams pushes Frunze back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Williams lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams throws a big uppercut that drops Frunze! More strikes from Williams and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Frunze lies dazed against the cage as Williams celebrates with his cornermen!
