Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rashid Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dao Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magomedov comes into the arena with Chris Brown - See You Again Feat. Tyga & Wiz Khalifa blaring out of the sound system. Sonnen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sure to be sure. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dao Sonnen!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Magomedov or perhaps it was just good defense by Sonnen, which made it look bad.
Sonnen raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Magomedov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sonnen's waist but Sonnen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magomedov off to one side.
Sonnen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Jab, jab by Sonnen - just one landing.
Sonnen looks for the body kick but Magomedov saw that one coming.
Sonnen throws a shot from downtown. Magomedov moves away and avoids it.
Magomedov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sonnen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Sonnen is trying to control but can't.
Magomedov seems to be looking for submissions.
Sonnen preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Sonnen is looking for a sweep. Magomedov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Magomedov is trying to control the action in half guard but Sonnen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Magomedov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sonnen wants to improve his position but Magomedov is controlling well.
Magomedov is looking for submissions but instead, Sonnen has regained full guard.
Sonnen is looking for a triangle but Magomedov pushes his legs off easily.
Magomedov trying to control the position from guard on top but Sonnen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sonnen pulls Magomedov in close to prevent any damage.

Sonnen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Magomedov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sonnen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Magomedov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sonnen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Magomedov goes for a double leg but Sonnen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sonnen continues to drive forward.
Sonnen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Magomedov.
Sonnen counters with a body kick.
Sonnen throws a series of punches but Magomedov avoids them all with ease.
Sonnen throws the left hand but Magomedov avoids the punch easily.
Magomedov takes one to the chin there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sonnen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sonnen now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Sonnen leaves Magomedov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sonnen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Magomedov fails with the takedown
and Magomedov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Magomedov misses with a takedown attempt
and Sonnen counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Magomedov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sonnen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Magomedov is breathing heavily.
Sonnen scores with a push kick.
Sonnen lands a big head kick that sends Magomedov tumbling to the mat! Sonnen takes a step backwards and waves Magomedov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Magomedov is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sonnen feints a jab and as Magomedov dips his head, Sonnen unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Magomedov right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Magomedov falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Sonnen smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dao Sonnen!
