Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Gustavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Glee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustavo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is SMOKE SERPENT - Jiu Jitsu. Glee has chosen Metallica - for whom the bell tolls as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glee getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Glee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Glee connects with a body shot.
Glee connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gustavo momentarily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gustavo.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Glee! But no joy.
Glee cracks Gustavo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

A nice side step and Glee releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Gustavo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Glee finds it's way round the side to connect with Gustavo's head.
Glee scores with a punch to the head.
Gustavo avoids the head kick by Glee.
Gustavo tries to counter by clinching up but Glee breaks away and moves out of range.
Gustavo moves out of range as Glee strikes.
Gustavo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Glee lands a nice hook to Gustavo's body. Gustavo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Gustavo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gustavo moves forwards but Glee connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gustavo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Gustavo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Glee swivels and escapes.
Glee is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gustavo had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Glee circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gustavo to the canvas! Gustavo doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Glee keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
