Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Massimo Benvenuti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neal Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Neal Bob!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob looks to land a body kick but Benvenuti moved away.
We've been told by Benvenuti's head coaches at O'Brannigans MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Benvenuti with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That kick from Benvenuti tenderised Bob's leg. Bob is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bob wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Benvenuti pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Benvenuti misses with a straight left.
Benvenuti throws a leg kick but Bob checks it.
Benvenuti swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Bob counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bob misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Benvenuti wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bob swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As Bob tries to get set, Benvenuti tries to push him back and clinch up but Bob manages to avoid the attempt.
Bob throws a body punch but Benvenuti moves out of range.
Benvenuti takes a kick to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Benvenuti rushes Bob and presses him up against the cage.
Benvenuti swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Benvenuti has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bob.
Benvenuti prevents Bob from breaking the clinch.
We've been informed that Bob has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Benvenuti has a couple of punches blocked by Bob.
Bob is trying to break free.
Bob breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Benvenuti just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bob. Benvenuti does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bob lands with a straight right. Benvenuti didn't see that one coming.
Bob connects with a crisp jab.
Benvenuti lands a head shot.

Bob bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Benvenuti's head.
Benvenuti misses with a few strikes there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bob throws a sloppy head kick and Benvenuti moves out of range easily.
Bob cracks Benvenuti with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Benvenuti falls to his knees and Bob doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Neal Bob!
Neal Bob took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Arcticus University: London for their support in the buildup to the fight.
In defeat, Massimo Benvenuti stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back stronger!'.
