Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh looks to land a combination but Fitzpatrick avoids it well.
Fitzpatrick ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fitzpatrick rushes Walsh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Walsh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fitzpatrick pushes Walsh back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Walsh tries for a takedown but Fitzpatrick manages to get underhooks.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fitzpatrick creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Fitzpatrick misses with a punch on the inside.
Walsh is looking to control Fitzpatrick's arms but Fitzpatrick gets an underhook and turns him. Now Walsh has his back to the cage.
Walsh has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fitzpatrick regains guard immediately.
Fitzpatrick not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fitzpatrick wants to sweep but no luck.
Walsh has gone for a leg lock! Fitzpatrick slips out almost immediately though and dives into Walsh's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walsh pulls Fitzpatrick in to control the position.

Walsh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Walsh is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Walsh throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Fitzpatrick rushes Walsh and presses him up against the cage.
Walsh can't get the takedown.

Walsh tries to pull guard but Fitzpatrick won't allow it.
Fitzpatrick lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Walsh is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fitzpatrick to keep the fight standing.
Walsh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Walsh tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fitzpatrick smiles and moves away.
Connor Fitzpatrick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fitzpatrick tries to close the distance and clinch but Walsh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Walsh looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Walsh looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Fitzpatrick tries to close the distance and clinch but Walsh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fitzpatrick comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Fitzpatrick displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walsh.
Walsh is breathing heavily.
Fitzpatrick lands a nice shot to the body.

Fitzpatrick lands a left hand that snaps the head of Walsh backwards.

Fitzpatrick gets through Walsh's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Oh Walsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walsh's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fitzpatrick pushes Walsh against the cage. Fitzpatrick is working some dirty boxing. Fitzpatrick pushes off with a quick right hook! Walsh goes down! Walsh tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Fitzpatrick moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Connor Fitzpatrick!
