The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richters keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gamby.
Gamby slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Richters tries to clinch but Gamby is having none of it.
Gamby lands with a hook. Richters tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gamby avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gamby steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Richters.
Gamby appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Richters tries to clinch there but Gamby circles away.
Gamby looks to land a left hand but Richters moved out of range nicely.

Gamby connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Richters onto his butt! Richters bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

It looks like Van Richters has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Richters lands a nice hook to Gamby's body. Gamby takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Richters looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Gamby catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Richters stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Richters walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Richters walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Gamby! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
