Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tracy Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Irving (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elias Irving acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tracy Dalton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elias Irving!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Irving shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Irving seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Irving's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Irving is pushing down on Dalton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dalton is fighting to maintain full guard but Irving has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dalton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Irving looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Dalton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dalton pulls Irving in close to prevent any damage.
Dalton wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Irving fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dalton to the ground. Irving is now in Dalton's guard.
Dalton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Tracy Dalton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dalton or perhaps it was just good defense by Irving, which made it look bad.

Dalton tries to lock up and control but Irving gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Irving lands a big elbow.

Irving tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Elias Irving showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Irving closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Irving perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Irving is looking for a kimura but Dalton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Irving to get the leverage.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Irving shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dalton is trying to defend but Irving finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Tracy Dalton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Elias Irving is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Elias Irving comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Irving has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
