PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Skidopolopolous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez comes to the cage accompanied by El Camino . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Skidopolopolous!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez looks to throw the jab but Skidopolopolous is out of range.
Velasquez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Skidopolopolous clinches up with Velasquez and pushes him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Skidopolopolous to work.
Skidopolopolous is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Velasquez is defending well for now.

Velasquez jumps guard.

Velasquez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Skidopolopolous can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Velasquez controls Skidopolopolous momentarily but Skidopolopolous frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Skidopolopolous controlling from the top position.
Velasquez is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Velasquez tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Velasquez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Skidopolopolous is aware though and is defending well.
Skidopolopolous wants to control from the top but Velasquez keeps moving.

Velasquez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Skidopolopolous gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Velasquez quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Skidopolopolous has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Velasquez celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
