Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lance Marcy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Stark has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Stark!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Jose Stark has been cut.

Marcy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Marcy gets to his feet - Stark follows without any prompting.
Stark fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stark will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Stark shoots for a takedown but Marcy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lance Marcy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Stark.
Stark drops his hands for a split second and Marcy immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Stark face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Marcy follows up with a right hand that knocks Stark into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lance Marcy!
A relieved looking Lance Marcy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
