Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Chaplin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davids forces Chaplin back against the cage and clinches.

Davids escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chaplin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Davids circles away.

Davids fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chaplin sprawls well initially but Davids persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Chaplin shoots in and bounces Davids off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Chaplin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Davids defend it? Chaplin steps over the head and cranks it - Davids is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Chaplin!
