Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Work Hard, Play Hard. Brandao misses the shot to the body.
Bowman looks for a takedown but Brandao sprawls well.
Bowman has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brandao is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Brandao lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Tom Bowman has been cut.
Bowman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brandao.
Bowman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jose Brandao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bowman throws out a counter right but Brandao avoids it with no problem.

Brandao swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Brandao scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Brandao is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Bowman hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

In his post fight interview, Jose Brandao started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
