The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparbot tries to clinch up but Penny circles away and keeps his distance.
Penny is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Sparbot connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Penny misses with a hook.
Sparbot throws a big counter combination but Penny scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Penny takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sparbot misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sparbot feints a jab promting Penny to slip. Sparbot then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Penny slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Sparbot throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Penny counters with a straight right hand.
Sparbot stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sparbot connects with a single shot there.
Sparbot looks to score with a jab to the body but Penny is just out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sparbot smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Penny scores with a jab to the head.
Sparbot feints a jab promting Penny to slip. Sparbot then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Penny slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Sparbot shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Penny eats them both and turns towards Sparbot to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Penny loads up on a big right hand but Sparbot slips the punch.
Penny just misses with a punch to the body.
Penny looks to land a left hand but Sparbot moved out of range nicely.
Nice defenses there by Penny.
Rocky Sparbot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penny bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Penny looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Penny ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sparbot moves away.
Sparbot ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sparbot throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Penny lands a slapping body shot.
Penny dodges the punch combination from Sparbot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Penny counters with a crisp one two that drops Sparbot! Penny thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sparbot to his feet! Sparbot is in big trouble!

and Penny rattles Sparbot with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Sparbot tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Penny dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Sparbot stiff and motionless on the mat!
