Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Vincent Oketch and Ivan Putski. Vincent Oketch had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Oketch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Putski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Oketch has Putski in his guard.

Oketch wants to pass the guard but Putski is keeping the position.

Oketch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Putski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oketch has managed to get both his arms back between Putski's legs - danger averted.
Oketch has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Oketch is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Putski gets his way!

My spies in The Good the Bad and The Ugly inform me that Putski has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
