PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matty Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Matty Tyson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Matty Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping throws a leg kick but Tyson checks it.
Tyson throws a leg kick but Bisping sees it coming and moves out of range.

Bisping clinches up with Tyson and pushes him back against the cage.
Tyson tries to pull guard but Bisping won't allow it.
Tyson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tyson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Bisping scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Tyson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Tyson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bisping avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bisping will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tyson up against the cage.

Tyson has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

and Tyson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bisping is breathing heavily.

Bisping escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tyson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bisping looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Tyson has picked Bisping up and slammed him! Bisping can't keep hold of the triangle and Tyson manages to pass to side control!
Tyson wants to stand but Bisping is controlling his arm.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Tyson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bisping circles away quickly and effectively.

Bisping on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
