Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julian Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olivier Levasseur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Julian Reis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Olivier Levasseur!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Reis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Reis seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Levasseur drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Levasseur jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

My spies in Fight Factory inform me that Levasseur has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Well Levasseur has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
