The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monstre gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hinton breaks from the clinch.
Monstre misses with a lunging right hand
and Hinton makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Monstre really felt that one!

Monstre clinches up with Hinton and pushes him back against the cage.

Monstre jumps guard and drags Hinton to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hinton lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Monstre wants to sweep here but Hinton controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Monstre manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Monstre lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

It looks like Dominick Hinton has been cut.
Hinton on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hinton goes for a takedown attempt but Monstre pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Monstre scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Monstre loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hinton scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Monstre land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Monstre stands and salutes the crowd.
