The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a right hand that misses
and Weaver counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Weaver.
Silva tries to circle away but Weaver has him pinned against the cage.
Silva has had enough of the clinch but Weaver keeps him there for the moment.
Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
Weaver is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Silva to keep the fight standing.
Silva can't break the clinch.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Weaver has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva throws a body punch but Weaver moves out of range.
Silva drops Weaver with a beautiful combination! Weaver stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!
Weaver is rocked!
It looks like Theo Weaver has been cut.
Weaver backs away from a small jab... but Silva lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Weaver crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Silva with a spectacular finish!
