Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Din Yaj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Eggman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Eggman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Eggman!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eggman fails with a takedown attempt.
A lazy left from Yaj finds it's target.
Yaj keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Yaj fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Eggman sprawls well initially but Yaj persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Yaj drops an elbow to the side of Eggman's head.
Eggman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Yaj with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Yaj working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yaj is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Yaj uses his free foot to push down on Eggman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Eggman.

Eggman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yaj. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yaj is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Eggman goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Yaj!
