Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Annakin Drako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan The Tall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duncan The Tall!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Tall has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Drako is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

The Tall's coach down at Better Alternative ($800/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on The Tall's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The Tall gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Drako to score an easy takedown into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Drako accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drako wants to pass the guard but The Tall is keeping the position.

Drako swings around for an armbar but The Tall sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Drako's guard.

Drako working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Tall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Tall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The Tall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Drako lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Drako shoots in looking for a takedown but The Tall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Drako's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Drako closes the distance and clinches up with The Tall, looking for a takedown. Drako pushes The Tall against the cage but The Tall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
