Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lance Hardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felicito Vicente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardwood comes to the cage accompanied by Stone Sour - Last Of The Real. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Hardwood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felicito Vicente!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vicente uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hardwood.
Vicente dives in and grabs Hardwood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hardwood pushes down on Vicente's head and hops out.
Hardwood throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vicente.
Vicente drives through and clinches with Hardwood against the cage.
Vicente tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hardwood just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hardwood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lance Hardwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardwood misses with a double jab.
Vicente tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vicente moves away from the strike by Hardwood.
Hardwood lands a leg kick that knocks Vicente off balance momentarily.
Vicente shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hardwood as he jumps to the side.
Lance Hardwood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felicito Vicente.
Vicente is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Horrible takedown attempt by Vicente or perhaps it was just good defense by Hardwood, which made it look bad.
Hardwood swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hardwood clobbers Vicente with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Vicente fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Vicente shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hardwood manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Vicente not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardwood wants to get back to his feet but Vicente is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Vicente tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vicente has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hardwood is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vicente has just dragged him back down to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lance Hardwood will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hardwood fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Vicente pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hardwood appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hardwood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vicente moves away.
Vicente throws a head kick but Hardwood moves out of range.
Vicente keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hardwood.
Lance Hardwood is winning the standup battle so far.
Vicente tries to move into range but Hardwood moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hardwood throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Vicente goes for a double leg but Hardwood avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hardwood continues to drive forward.
Vicente displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hardwood throws out the jab.

Hardwood connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hardwood dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vicente is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hardwood.
Hardwood throws a jab but it's blocked by Vicente.
Vicente uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hardwood.
And Vicente tries to counter it with a takedown but Hardwood pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A punch lands to the side of Vicente 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hardwood connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vicente. Vicente circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A relieved looking Lance Hardwood thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
