PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ahmad Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryszard Drach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drach comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Survival of the Sickest kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ahmad Daniel has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryszard Drach!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drach shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Daniel counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Drach!

Daniel decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Daniel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Drach drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Daniel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Drach has Daniel in his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Drach wants to hit a switch here but Daniel passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Drach there!
Drach is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Daniel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
