Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaime Guttierez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson stuffs the takedown.
Anderson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Guttierez has a takedown stuffed.
Guttierez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anderson pinned against the cage. Anderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Logan Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaime Guttierez.

Guttierez feints and as Anderson raises his hands in defense, Guttierez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Guttierez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Anderson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Guttierez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anderson's waist but Anderson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guttierez off to one side.

Guttierez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Anderson to the mat! Anderson manages to get full guard.

Guttierez is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Anderson's shoulder. That is not cool.
Anderson tries to buck Guttierez off but Guttierez is having none of it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Anderson misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Anderson is trying to escape the position but Guttierez is controlling the position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Guttierez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anderson sprawls well initially but Guttierez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Anderson wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
