Sharp closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Vasily wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sharp sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Vasily is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Sharp is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Vasily looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sharp gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Vasily is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sharp lets go of the hold and Vasily can pop his arm back in it's socket.
