The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savkov walks into a stiff left hand from Champagne.
Champagne connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Savkov momentarily.
Champagne displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Savkov throws out the jab.
Savkov's corner calls for a 1-2. Savkov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Champagne definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Champagne closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Savkov fails to land.

Savkov is trying to trip Champagne. He has hold of a leg but Champagne is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Savkov persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Savkov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Savkov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Champagne's guard.
Champagne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savkov on the ground.
Savkov thows a huge punch but Champagne dodges it nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Champagne is looking to escape.

Savkov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Savkov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Champagne tries to kick Savkov off but Savkov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Savkov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Savkov lands a big elbow - Champagne is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Savkov!
