And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shirato Shin!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mccray clinches up with Shin and pushes him back against the cage.
Shin tries a knee to the head but Mccray blocks it.

Shin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mccray clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Mccray rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Shin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mccray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shin has Mccray pressed against the cage, preventing Mccray from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Shin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shin showed some decent athleticism there.
Mccray is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shirato Shin dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Shin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Shin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Shin lands an elbow inside.


It looks like Kenny Mccray has been cut.

Shin gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Mccray wants to control but Shin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Shin decides to return to a standing position.

Shin takes the fight into the clinch.
Shin utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Shirato Shin seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Mccray is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Shin to keep the fight standing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mccray is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Mccray changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Shin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Shin drives through and clinches with Mccray against the cage.
Shin gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Shin has Mccray pressed against the cage, preventing Mccray from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Shin keeps control of Mccray as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Shin blocking some punches.
Shin with a knee to the head.


Mccray is rocked!
Shin pushes Mccray against the cage. Shin is working some dirty boxing. Shin pushes off with a quick right hook! Mccray goes down! Mccray tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Shin moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shirato Shin!
