Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chauncey Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Ming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chauncey Woodward looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodward is looking to clinch but Ming is avoiding it.
Ming looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Woodward tries to sprawl but Ming drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Woodward is refusing to be controlled, as Ming sits in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ming decides to stand and escape the position.

and Ming counters with an outside leg kick.
Woodward is breathing heavily.
Ming has Woodward up against the cage in a clinch.
Ming has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Woodward is trying to keep an underhook but Ming manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Ming is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Woodward sees it coming and defends easily.

Ming stays in close to Woodward's body and controls the position.
Ming looking to sit in guard and control but Woodward gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ming is controlling Woodward's posture.

Woodward drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ming manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Woodward has Ming in his guard.
Ming trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ming gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ming lands a big head kick that sends Woodward tumbling to the mat! Ming takes a step backwards and waves Woodward back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Woodward is rocked!
It looks like Chauncey Woodward has been cut.
Ming lands a body shot.
Oh Woodward is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Joe Ming seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ming closes the distance looking for a takedown. Woodward stuffs it but Ming still has hold of him. Ming picks Woodward up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Ming slams Woodward to the floor and that's really hurt Woodward - he doesn't know where he is! Ming throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
