The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bubbles fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mcpot checks it well.
Mcpot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bubbles shoots in and bounces Mcpot off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bubbles working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mcpot's head.

Bubbles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bubbles landing some decent shots from guard.
Bubbles throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcpot has momentary wrist control but Bubbles slips an elbow through the middle.
Bubbles throws an elbow that misses. Mcpot uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bubbles's guard. Nice move by Mcpot!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bubbles is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bubbles looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Bubbles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcpot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
