Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kieta Vivian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gulun Shulun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vivian closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Shulun is looking to improve his position.
Vivian is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Vivian is working for a kimura but Shulun is defending it quite comfortably.
Shulun is looking for a sweep. Vivian is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Shulun moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shulun is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Vivian is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Shulun is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Shulun has escaped and now he's on top!
Vivian looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shulun is one step ahead there.

Vivian escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shulun gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vivian working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shulun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Vivian is tightening it up a little... Shulun has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shulun reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shulun taps out! Nice BJJ there by Vivian!
