Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shigeno Goro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alopan Mozapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alopan Mozapa!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goro moves into the clinch.

Mozapa successfully pulls guard.
Goro content to stall in guard here.

Mozapa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mozapa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Goro trying to move into half guard but instead Mozapa has managed to sweep!

Mozapa controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Goro throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mozapa escapes and throws Goro's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goro wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Mozapa advances nicely into full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goro looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Goro is keeping busy.
Mozapa is hanging on to Goro's back as he tries to escape.
Goro trying to control the position but Mozapa manages to sink in the hooks.
Goro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Goro tries to roll but Mozapa sticks to his back.

Mozapa is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Goro knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Goro for a finish.

Mozapa is working for a rear naked choke. Goro is not defending it well and Mozapa has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Goro refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Goro's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
