Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunnar Wylde!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
High on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wylde. Wylde obviously looking to wear him down.
We've been hearing reports that High has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Wylde sizes up High with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
High throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
High keeps the fight on the outside.
High misses with a right hand
and Wylde counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wylde throws a sloppy head kick and High moves out of range easily.
High throws a quick counter kick to the body but Wylde avoids it.
High swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wylde is clearly trying to counter these attacks from High with a body shot.

It seemed like Wylde was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wylde has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
High lands a body shot.
Wylde loads up on a big right hand but High slips the punch.
High is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Wylde.
Wylde swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by High.

and High counters with a good, hard body kick but Wylde shrugs it off.

Wylde has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from High.

A looping hook to the body misses from High. Wylde does a little dance to reset his feet.

Wylde drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

High throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wylde sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wylde steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

High throws a body punch but Wylde moves out of range.
Wylde tries a quick counter leg kick but High is wise to it.
High throws a leg kick which misses Wylde's front leg but catches the back leg as Wylde tries to avoid it.
Wylde throws a lazy right hand but High sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Wylde stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from High.
High looks to land a right hand but Wylde moved out of range.
High blocks a jab.
Wylde moves out of range of the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A little feinted left hand from High on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
High looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
High listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
High chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wylde can pounce on him.

That was a close round but I would say that Phil High will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Good leg kick by High there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
High blocks a low kick nicely.

enabling Wylde to counter with a crisp jab.

High swings for the body but Wylde moves out of range.

Wylde lands a big head kick that sends High tumbling to the mat! Wylde takes a step backwards and waves High back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Phil High has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wylde connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between High's hands.

Wylde jabbing away but nothing is landing.
High connects with a leg kick. Wylde looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Wylde tests High's chin there with a solid looking shot.

High is rocked!
Wylde circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops High to the canvas! High doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Wylde keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gunnar Wylde!
A very excited looking Gunnar Wylde rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
