The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deleon gets tackled into the cage by Briggs. Briggs maintains the clinch.
Briggs has had enough of the clinch but Deleon keeps him there for the moment.
Deleon prevents Briggs from breaking the clinch.
Briggs wants to break free but Deleon has control.
Briggs breaks from the clinch.
Briggs tries to bum rush Deleon with a series of wild strikes but Deleon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A counter left hand to the body from Deleon misses its target.
Deleon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Deleon is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Briggs moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shannon Briggs!
