Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between War Hercules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Redflame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake Redflame told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, War Hercules!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drake Redflame!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redflame shoots in looking for a takedown. Hercules tries to sprawl out of it but Redflame keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hercules manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Redflame shoots in for a double leg but Hercules sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Redflame tries to clinch there but Hercules circles away.
Redflame lands a head kick. Hercules smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Redflame tries to clinch there but Hercules circles away.
Redflame tries for a takedown but Hercules sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
War Hercules has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drake Redflame.
Redflame shoots for a double leg takedown but Hercules sprawls well. He's pushed Redflame's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hercules throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Redflame moves away from the strike by Hercules.
Redflame tries to clinch but Hercules moves out of range.
Redflame fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Redflame has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Redflame there as he acknowledges the shot.
Redflame looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hercules is fending him off so far but Redflame persists. Nope, Hercules circles away and we're back to standing.
Hercules circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Redflame looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hercules gets the takedown into side control.
Redflame is looking to reverse the position.
Hercules has an Americana. Redflame didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hercules is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hercules hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). War Hercules!
