Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between bruno andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caeas Liege (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liege has chosen Mausum & Escape as his entrance music. Caeas Liege told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
andrade shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Liege shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Liege was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Liege moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, andrade has worked his arm free - good work by andrade!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
andrade tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Liege presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
andrade is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
andrade keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Liege swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and andrade is now in Liege's guard. A big mistake from Liege there, giving up the dominant position!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

andrade escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Liege gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Liege has his foot on andrade's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. andrade works his way back into a safe position though.

andrade moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Liege postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! andrade is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Liege, into his guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
andrade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Liege shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Liege had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. andrade is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Liege Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take andrade's back instead.

Well Liege has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
