The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaug throws a series of punches but Meikalainen avoids them all with ease.
Smaug drops his hands momentarily and Meikalainen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Cinder Smaug has been cut.
Smaug cracks Meikalainen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Smaug throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Meikalainen's head coaches at The Coffee Shop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Smaug tries to keep at a distance but Meikalainen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Smaug tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Meikalainen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Smaug swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Smaug fails with an attempt to clinch.
Smaug swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
