Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between George Kalai and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib Nurmagomedov acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kalai closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kalai lands in his opponent's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Kalai (2) vs (0) Nurmagomedov Kalai not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Nurmagomedov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kalai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nurmagomedov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kalai pushes down on Nurmagomedov's leg and manages to get into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Kalai seems content to control. Nurmagomedov is looking to control Kalai's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nurmagomedov avoid being mounted?

Nurmagomedov is looking to get back to full guard here but Kalai has managed to pass to side control instead.
