Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deni Mukhtar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mukhtar comes to the cage accompanied by Goyang Dumang. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mukhtar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Johns throws a looping overhand right but Mukhtar ducks down to avoid it.
Johns misses with a series of wild punches.
Mukhtar uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johns.
Johns looks to throw the jab but Mukhtar is out of range.
Johns's coach down at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Johns's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mukhtar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johns.
Mukhtar moves into range and connects with a jab.
Johns closes the distance and clinches up with Mukhtar, looking for a takedown. Johns pushes Mukhtar against the cage but Mukhtar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mukhtar looks to score with a jab to the body but Johns is just out of range.
Mukhtar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Johns.

Mukhtar jabs Johns right on the nose. Johns blinks but takes it well.

Johns clinches up against the cage.
Johns changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mukhtar fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Johns throws a series of punches but Mukhtar avoids them all with ease.
Johns blocks the body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johns wants to slow Mukhtar down by chopping away at his legs.

We've been told by Mukhtar's head coaches at 25 Beasts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Johns moves forwards but Mukhtar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Johns throws out a loose jab but Mukhtar uses good head movement to avoid it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mukhtar.

Johns moves into range and clinches up with Mukhtar.
Johns lands a shoulder strike.
Johns lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mukhtar or not.
A frustrated look appears on Mukhtar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Johns keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mukhtar's efforts to push away.
Mukhtar has had enough of the clinch but Johns keeps him there for the moment.
Johns misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mukhtar tries to circle away but Johns has him pinned against the cage.

Johns breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johns throws a hook to the side of Mukhtar's head but Mukhtar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Johns throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mukhtar sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mukhtar, as that shot connected.
Mukhtar staying out of range there.
Johns looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mukhtar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Charlie Johns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Johns gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Mukhtar manages to break the clinch.
Deni Mukhtar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Mukhtar - that will leave a mark!
Mukhtar connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Mukhtar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Johns's head backwards.
Johns is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johns shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mukhtar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Deni Mukhtar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Johns.
Mukhtar checks a leg kick nicely.
Mukhtar is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

A decent looking cross lands there for Mukhtar.

Johns misses with a wild combination.
Mukhtar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Johns throws a leg kick
letting Mukhtar counter with a right hand.
Mukhtar scores with a hook to the body. Johns takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mukhtar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johns fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mukhtar scores with a jab to the body.
Mukhtar throws a jab but it's blocked by Johns.
Johns clobbers Mukhtar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Deni Mukhtar has been cut.
Mukhtar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johns throws a big shot that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mukhtar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johns connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mukhtar. Mukhtar circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Mukhtar is rocked!
Johns misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh Mukhtar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johns misses with a straight left.
Mukhtar seems to have got his legs back now.
Mukhtar is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Johns misses with a hook
and Mukhtar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Johns takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mukhtar misses with a head kick.
Mukhtar throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
It seemed like Johns was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Johns shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mukhtar as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed right hand from Johns misses the target.
Mukhtar misses with the combination.
Johns throws a low kick but Mukhtar avoids it.
A jab from Mukhtar does it's job there.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mukhtar slaps away a takedown attempt from Johns, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johns misses with an uppercut. Mukhtar saw that one coming.
It looked like Mukhtar was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Johns tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick misses from Mukhtar.
Deni Mukhtar is winning the standup battle so far.
A jab from Mukhtar does it's job there.
Mukhtar moves out of range as Johns strikes.

Johns sends Mukhtar crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Johns is motioning to the referee to let Mukhtar up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Mukhtar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Johns.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mukhtar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johns has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johns and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A big right from Johns misses.
Johns jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Johns, right into the meat.

and Johns counters with a big right hand! Oh Mukhtar is in trouble here! Johns follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Johns!
A relieved looking Charlie Johns thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
