Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Colin Mcquinn!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcquinn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. English manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mcquinn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

English is looking for a sweep. Mcquinn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mcquinn is looking to pass English's guard but actually English recovers to full guard.
English lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Mcquinn is trying to get back to his feet but English has full control of the position and if anything, Mcquinn has just worked his way into a worse spot.
You can see the frustration on Mcquinn's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

English has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mcquinn has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Mcquinn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. English tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mcquinn is in English's guard.
English is trying to keep Mcquinn in close.
English can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mcquinn controls the pace.
English pulls Mcquinn in close to prevent any damage.

English is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Murray English overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
English bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mcquinn's guard.

English is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mcquinn defends it well.
