Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matti Teitsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Hurriganes - Get On. Matti Teitsi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Teitsi counters with a stiff right hand.
Lopez throws a shot from downtown. Teitsi moves away and avoids it.

Lopez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Teitsi's half guard.
Teitsi is not content to let Lopez control the position.

Lopez is trying to work for a kimura but Teitsi is defending well.

Lopez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Teitsi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lopez.

Lopez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Teitsi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lopez has Teitsi in his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lopez has gone for a leg lock! Teitsi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lopez's guard.

Teitsi is working Lopez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Teitsi is just content to waste time from the top position. Lopez takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Teitsi throws a strike but Lopez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Teitsi wants to sweep but no luck.
Teitsi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lopez's guard.

Teitsi postures up in Lopez's guard and throws a big left but Lopez blocks it.

Lopez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Teitsi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Teitsi wants to control from the top but Lopez keeps moving.

Lopez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Teitsi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Teitsi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lopez pulls Teitsi in close to his closed guard and prevents Teitsi from doing any damage or advancing position.

Lopez looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Teitsi passes into half guard.
Teitsi misses with a head shot. Lopez uses the momentum to regain guard.

Lopez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Teitsi has picked Lopez up and slammed him! Lopez can't keep hold of the triangle and Teitsi manages to pass to side control!
Lopez gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Teitsi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lopez defends it well.

Lopez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Teitsi pulls his head out easily.
