The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aims moves away from the strike by Kovalev.
Kovalev looks to land a combination but Aims avoids it well.
No joy there for Aims, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kovalev looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kovalev jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kovalev misses with a wild combination.
Aims throws a nice looking combination but Kovalev bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aims throws a right hand that Kovalev ducks under and follows up with a left that Kovalev also avoids with ease.
Kovalev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Aims lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Peter Kovalev has been cut.
A combination from Kovalev does no damage.

Aims lands a big right hand that sends Kovalev crashing to the mat! Aims stays standing though and waves Kovalev back to his feet!
