Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drew Peacock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peacock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is God's gonna cut you down. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Peacock is fending him off so far but Cobb persists. Nope, Peacock circles away and we're back to standing.

Peacock gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Peacock is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cobb is controlling him.
Peacock lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cobb!

Peacock throwing strikes but Cobb bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peacock throws and elbow that misses. Cobb uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Peacock's guard. Nice move by Cobb!

Cobb moves into full mount! Peacock won't be happy about that!

Cobb goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Peacock is on top in guard.

Cobb had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Peacock is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cobb Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Peacock's back instead.
Cobb doesn't have the hooks in and Peacock manages to turn into his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peacock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Peacock throws a strike but Cobb rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Peacock trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Peacock working a defensive guard but Cobb passes into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cobb is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Cobb is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Peacock is surviving well by controlling Cobb's body position as best he can.

Cobb closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Peacock is trying to maintain the position but Cobb is very close to passing his half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Peacock is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Peacock keeping hold of Cobb's head, controlling as best he can.
Peacock wants to control but Cobb passes into side.

Cobb looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Peacock is trying to control Cobb's posture but Cobb avoids it.

Cobb is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Peacock knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cobb tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peacock tries to bench press Cobb off him but Cobb keeps the position.
Cobb gets to mount! Peacock was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Peacock wants to control but Cobb is having none of it.

Cobb is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Peacock is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Peacock flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cobb anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Peacock and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cobb slips an arm under Peacock chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cobb has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cobb is squeezing on Peacock like an anaconda would it's prey. Peacock fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
