The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savan stuffs the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vaughn is defended easily by Savan.
Savan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Savan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vaughn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vaughn lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Vaughn keeps the fight on the outside.
Vaughn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vaughn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Vaughn is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Savan to keep the fight standing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Savan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Savan lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Vaughn to his knees! Savan keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
