The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

dog decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Young tries to get to full guard but dog has control of the leg.

Young had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. dog is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Young Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take dog's back instead.

Young cracks dog with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing dog from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Young is trying to stick to dog's back but dog is turning into Young. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Young's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by dog.
